ROCHESTER, NY – For the second consecutive game, the Cavaliers found themselves in an early hole, out of which they could not pull themselves.
The Cabrini men's basketball team trailed by 23 points at the half before falling to 0-2 on the season after today's 74-61 loss to Baldwin Wallace in the first game of the Chuck Rensler Invitational at the University of Rochester.

Anthony Wright-Downing led the Blue and White with 18 points, while freshman
Voshon Mack paired 13 points, eight boards and a pair of blocked shots.
The Cavaliers struggled with their shooting touch, hitting just .367 from the field, including 4-19 from three point range.
Cabrini built an early lead, but the Yellow Jackets drained back to back threes and never looked back.
The Blue and White's offensive struggles were evident in the opening 20 minutes, as the team hit just 9-29 from the field. Cabrini also committed 10 turnovers and was outrebounded by 10.
BWU took advantage, connecting on 18-30 from the floor in the first half, including seven three pointers, to build a 49-26 halftime lead .
The Yellow Jackets pushed their lead to 55-28 early in the second half before Cabrini began its comeback.
Over the next six minutes, the Cavaliers climbed back into the game with a 23-3 run, holding BWU to 1-5 field goals and forcing three turnovers.
Wright-Downing 's lay-up with 8:42 on the clock pulled Cabrini to within 64-57, but it would be the Blue and White's final field goal of the night.
Cabrini missed its final 12 field goal attempts and committed six of its 17 turnovers over the final eight minutes, allowing BWU to maintain its lead.
Michael Quiring led the Yellow Jackets (2-0) with 17 points, while Jay Battle added 15 points.
The Cavaliers will play in Saturday's consolation game against the loser of tonight's second game between the host Rochester (1-0) and Houghton College (0-1). Tip is slated for 2pm.
