Julia LaMarra secured a 7-4 victory over Rosemont's Anya Brooks and Erin Gallishaw to put the Cavaliers up 2-0.Â
Javitt captured her first No. 1 singles victory of the year via a 6-2, 6-0 decision to give the Cavs a 3-0 lead. Sophomore
Lattana Sithara took a 6-1, 6-4 victory in No. 2 singles, while classmate
Sydney Lynch's 6-1, 6-0 victory in No. 3 singles put the Blue and White up 5-0.Â
Lamarra and senior
Kimberly Pepenella cruised through No. 4 and 5 singles, respectively as they locked down victories 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 over their opponents.Â
The Cavaliers improve to 2-4 on the young season and will next take the court on Thursday, March 22nd when they travel to Cairn University for a 4pm start.Â
