WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ – The Cabrini golf teams returned to action today, as both competed at the Scotland Run Shootout at Scotland Run Golf Club, hosted by Arcadia University. The Cabrini men tied for fifth in a field of 13 teams, while the Blue and White women finished fifth of six teams.
Junior
David Gall paced the Cabrini men, who posted a team score of 342 on the par 71, 6,448 yard course. Gall's round of 77 was good for a sixth place tie in the 71 player field.
Junior
Nick Alizzi tied for 33rd after posting a score of 85, while senior
David Anders' 89 tied for 46th place. Senior
Nick Straub posted a score of 90 to finish 52, while freshman
Mike McCuen placed 70th after shooting a 120.
Sophomore

Ashley Moore posted matching scores of 117 on the par 71, 5,847 yard circuit, tying for 21st place.
Freshman
Kaylee Plisinski placed 24th after carding a round of 123, one stroke better than classmate
Abi Fricke, who tied for 25th.
Penn State Berks won the men's team title by six strokes over Rutgers-Camden, with Wesley and Ursinus joining Cabrini in the top five. Rutgers-Camden's Richard Stolz shot a 73 to earn a one stroke win over Penn State Berks' Matt Kreider.
Jefferson University bested Drew University by five strokes to win the women's event, despite Drew's Lucy Lamb earning the individual crown with a round of 82, three stroke ahead of teammate Marissa Broderick and Muhenberg's Aine Filler.
The Cabrini men will return to action on Tuesday, as they compete in the rescheduled Dickinson College Invitational at Mayapple Golf Course in Carlisle, PA. Tee time is scheduled for 12:30pm.
The Blue and White women will next play on April 10, when they tee off at the Ursinus College Invitational. The action will get underway at 1pm at Stonewall Golf Club in Elverson, PA.
