SCRANTON, PA – The Cabrini men's lacrosse team ran its Colonial States Athletic Conference win streak to 114 games today, as the No. 8 Cavaliers rolled to an 18-2 win over the Marywood University Pacers.
With today's win, the Blue and White improved to 13-2 overall and secured the number one seed and home field advantage in the upcoming CSAC Tournament by virtue of its perfect 6-0 league record.
Junior
Timmy Brooks led Cabrini with a career high seven goals to lead six Blue and White goal scorers. Classmate
Jordan Krug paired four goals and two assists, while sophomore
Jake Klein recorded three goals and four points, one more point and goal than fellow sophomore
Matt LoParo.

Tommy DeLuca caused three turnovers and joined Krug, Brooks and sophomore
Mike Gerzabek with four ground balls each. Junior goaltender
Riley White paired three saves, six ground balls and two caused turnovers to earn the victory.
The Cavaliers took control of the game in the early minutes, as Krug and Brooks combined to score the game's first five goals. LoParo added a first quarter goal before the Pacers got on the board with five minutes left in the stanza. Klein's first goal of the afternoon gave Cabrini a comfortable 7-1 lead after 15 minutes of play.
Cabrini showed no let-up in the second quarter, as Brooks, Klein and Krug combined to score six goals on the team's 13 shots in the period.
Brooks closed his scoring with two goals in the third frame, before LoParo's man-down goal put the Blue and White ahead 16-1 entering the fourth, a period that saw sophomore

Kyle Tucker mark the scoring column.
Cabrini outshot the Pacers 52-18 on the day, including 33-9 in shots on goals, and recorded three man-down goals.
Matt Casto led Marywood (7-7, 4-2 CSAC) with a goa, an assist and three ground balls, while goaltender Vinny Biancardi notched 10 saves in 30 minutes of action.
The Cavaliers will close their regular season on Wednesday, as they welcome Immaculata University (4-11, 2-4 CSAC) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. The opening faceoff is slated for 4pm.
