Gwynedd Valley, PA - The Cabrini men's tennis team capped their Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) schedule with an 8-1 victory over the hosting Gwynedd Mercy University Griffins. The victory marks the second consecutive season in which the Blue and White have gone undefeated in conference play.
Cabrini posted strong showings in all three doubles matches, highlighted by an 8-0 victory from freshman

CJ LaMantia cruised to their ninth doubles victory on the year following an 8-2 final in the No. 1 pairing. Junior

Chukwuma Duru, meanwhile, took care of business in No. 3 doubles with a convincing 8-1 match win.
Falcone, Tilley and Duru breezed through their respective singles matches as they combined to drop just two games. Broadnax and Lamantia ultimately edged their Griffin counterparts by way of a 6-3, 6-4 and 6-1, 6-3 final, respectively.
Scaramuzza was narrowly edged in the No. 5 slot as he forced a tie break, but ultimately fell by way of a 7-6, (8-6), 6-1 decision.
The victory improves the Cavs' record to 10-5 overall and 7-0 in the CSAC. They will cap their regular season on Wednesday, April 25th when they host Ursinus College at the Dixon Tennis Courts. Match time is slated for 3:30pm.
