CARLISLE, PA – The Cabrini men's golf team finished fifth in a field of nine teams at today's Dickinson College Invitational. The Cavaliers posted a team score of 315 on the par 70, 6,412 yard course at Mayapple Golf Links.
Junior
David Gall paced the Blue and White with today's third place finish. The junior carded a one over par, 71, three strokes off the pace in a field of 46 players.
Senior
David Anders also earned a top 15 finish, as the senor's round of 78 was good for a 14th place tie.
Classmate
Nick Straub tied for 23rd with today's round of 82, two strokes better than junior
Nick Alizzi, whose round of 84 was good for 31st place. Freshman
Mike McCuen placed 44th with today's 104.
Host Dickinson earned a seven stroke victory over Gettysburg with a team score of 290. Stevenson and McDaniel finished third and fourth, respectively.
Gettysburg's Danny Harcourt won the team title after shooting a two under par, 68, two strokes ahead of Dickinson's Tyler Caballero.
Cabrini will return to the links on Thursday, as they head west to Hershey, PA for the Elizabethtown College Invitational. Tee time is slated for 12 noon at the Hershey Country Club East Course.
