David Gall highlighted the Cabrini men's golf team's performance at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Spring Invitational today.
Gall battled tough weather conditions to shoot a three over par, 75, on the 6,204 yard course at Merchantville Country Club to earn his first victory of the year, a one stroke win over Muhlenberg's Ben Lieberman and Shane Nocito from Penn State Abington.
As a team, the Blue and White posted an eighth place finish in the nine team field, recording a team score of 361.
Senior
David Anders joined Gall among the top 10 spots on the leader board, posting a round of 80 to tie for seventh in the 46 player field.
Junior
Nick Alizzi tied for 40th after today's 92, while freshman
Mike McCuen shot 114 to finish 46th.
The event's host, Rutgers-Camden won the team title with a team score of 320, seven strokes better than Stevens Institute.
The Cavaliers will look to improve on today's performance on Tuesday, when it tees off in the Ursinsus College Spring Invitational. The action will get underway at 1pm at Stonewall Golf Club in Elverson, PA.
