WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Cavaliers surrendered the game's only goal in the 84th minute, as the Cabrini men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss at King's College tonight.
The loss dropped the Blue and White to 2-4-1 on the season, while the Monarchs improved to 4-3-1.
Cabrini's defensive strategies were tested in the opening 45 minutes, as King's outshot the Cavaliers 12-1 and recorded eight corner kicks.

The Cavaliers responded early in the second half, as its first four shots were on target and required saves by Monarch's netminder Owen Geedey.
The score sheet remained clean until the 84th minute, when a Cabrini foul gave King's the chance it needed. Quentin Szeker-Corte's service from the right side found August Axtman for a header and the day's lone goal.

Jared Irwin accounting for three.
Cabrini will return to action on Saturday, as it hosts Eastern (4-2) in the Battle for Eagle Road. The action will get underway at 6pm at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
