RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's soccer team continues to seek its first goal of 2018, after suffering a 2-0 loss to Widener University today at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
The loss drops the Blue and White to 0-2 on the young season, while the Pride improved to 2-0.
Widener took the lead in the 19th minute, when the Pride converted a Blue and White defensive turnover into freshman Nick Brison's second goal of the season.
The Pride doubled its advantage in the 61st minute, as Brison found sophomore Nick LeFevre with a ball through the Cavaliers defense.
Cabrini recorded just eight shots on the day, with three on target, to 13 for Widener.

Brison and LeFevre finished with a goal and an assist each for the Pride, while junior goaltender John Warwick recorded three saves to record the shutout.
The Cavaliers will look to regroup before making the trip to Center Valley, PA on Wednesday, when they will face DeSales University (1-0). The opening kickoff is slated for 4pm.
