Chestertown, MD - The Cabrini women's soccer team dropped a nonconference matchup at Washington College this afternoon after the hosting Shorewomen used a trio of second half goals en route to a 3-0 final over the Blue and White. 

The loss also snapped the Cavaliers season long three game win streak 

The Shorewomen, who entered todays match with just one loss, stifled the Cabrini attack as they didn't allow a shot on goal and held the Cavs to just a pair of corner kicks. Despite not landing a shot on goal, the Cavs did register nine shots, led by sophomores Alex Garces and Brittany Purdy who tallied two each. 

After an even first half that ended in a stalemate knotted at zero, the Shorewomen broke through in the 57th minute to take to 1-0 lead thanks to a goal from Arianna Sabatino. Sabatino took the feed from Lauren Neary and pushed it past Cabrini sophomore keeper Ashley Tutzauer. Tutzauer would finish the game with five saves. 

The Shorewomen would add some insurance 20 minutes later and push their lead to 3-0 following a pair of goals from Erin O'Riley in the 70th and 73rd minute. 

Cabrini would threaten, but was ultimately held without a shot the remainder of the match. 

Following today's action, the Cavs move to 5-3 overall and will wrap up their nonconference slate on Friday, September 28th when they host Lehman College at Edith Robb Dixon Field. Game time is slated for 4pm.
