DOYLESTOWN, PA – The Cabrini men's soccer team found its offense tonight, as it scored a 2-0 victory at Delaware Valley University.
With tonight's win, the Cavaliers snapped their three match winless streak and improved to 3-5-1 on the season.
The Blue and White recorded season highs with 16 shots and five shots on goal, while forcing 11 corner kicks. Tonight also marked the first time this season the Cavaliers have scored two goals in a single contest.
The Blue and White took control of the action in the opening 45 minutes, as it outshot the Aggies 12-1 and recorded seven of its corner kicks.

John Griffin collected square pass from classmate
Dani Acevedo in the 14th minute and deposited the ball into the net from 10 yards out.

James Pettus doubled the lead in the 32nd minute, when junior
Christopher Araujo's through ball found him alone with the goaltender.

Andre Justin led the Cavaliers with four shots, one more than Griffin, while senior
Sal Zampirri Jr. and freshman
Ben Cahill added two each.

Anthony Zampirri tallied three saves to secure his third shutout of the campaign.
Delaware Valley goaltender Josh Jarret recorded three saves for the Aggies (3-6).
Tonight's match took more than three hours to complete, as the action was interrupted by an 85 minute weather delay.
The Blue and White will return to Edith Robb Dixon Field on Saturday, when they host Alvernia University (4-5-2). Kickoff is slated for 12pm.
