RADNOR, PA – After more than a month away from competition, the Cabrini swim teams returned to action today, as they welcomed the Widener University Pride to the Dixon Center Pool.
The women suffered a 187-75 loss, while the men fell 175-82.
Sophomores
Tara McCloskey and
Cameron Mousley led the way for their respective teams.
McCloskey entered the program record book, as her time of 2:33.20 in the 200-yard breaststroke sliced nearly a second off the school's 11-year old record.
The sophomore also teamed with freshman
Marisa Linsky, junior
Katherine Buckmann and freshman
Sarah Gudas to open the action with a second place finish in the 200-yard medley relay.
In the day's final event, the 200-yard freestyle relay, McCloskey joined freshman
Rachel Marek, Gudas and junior
Lauren Finnegan for another second place finish.
Sophomore
Tori DeLusant added a pair of second place finishes in the 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard individual medley, while senior
Marissa Loro, Marek and Gudas scored second place finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke and 50-yard freestyle, respectively.
Mousley scored a pair of victories for the Blue and White men, reaching the wall first in both the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:33.26) and 500-yard freestyle (5:01.57).
Like McCloskey, Mousley also recorded a pair of second place finishes in relay events. The sophomore joined classmate

Marc Consiglio and
Mac Granto in the 200-yard medley relay before teaming with classmate
Luke McDevitt, Consiglio and Granto in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Granto also stood atop the podium today, as the rookie's time of 49.88 was good for a victory in the 100-yard freestyle. The freshman also scored a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle.
Schuehler, Consiglio and sophomore
Nick Conroy also tallied second place finishes in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley, respectively.
The Blue and White will return to action on Friday, as they travel to Dickinson College. The action will get underway at 6pm in Carlisle, PA.
