DOVER, DE – The Cabrini volleyball team rallied from back to back Atlantic East Conference losses to close its conference slate with a convincing 3-0- victory at Wesley.
The 25-13, 25-17, 25-22 win improved the Blue and White to 13-12 overall 4-2 in league play.
By virtue of their conference record, the Cavaliers have clinched the No. 3 seed in next week's Atlantic East Conference tournament and will host a first round match on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers hit .244 on the night, pairing 42 kills against just 12 attack errors, the team's second fewest errors in a match this season.
Senior
Katrina Shelly posted her 12th double-double of the season, pairing a match-high 11 kills with 15 digs.
Junior
Steph Judkins added 10 kills and eight digs, while sophomore
Hannah Dalton chipped in with seven kills and four block assists.
Sophomore
Amelia Ballard and freshman
Melanie Cotes-Rivera directed the Blue and White attack, tallying 12 assists each, while the rookie added three service aces.
Sophomore
Gina Custer earned match high honors with 19 digs.
Lindsay Burg led Wesley (12-14, 1-4 Atlantic East) with 12 assists and 14 digs.
The Cavaliers will close their regular season on Saturday, as they head across the Ben Franklin Bridge to face Rowan (17-14, 7-1 NJAC). First serve is slated for 12pm in Glassboro, NJ.
