PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team dropped a nonconference matchup today against the hosting Jefferson University Rams by a 6-1 final.
The Rams got off to a fast start as they took No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by way of a 6-0 decision in each to capture the team point.

Sydney Lynch and freshman
Raechel Aviles were both edged by a 6-0, 6-0 decision in No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively. Freshman
Elizabeth Baddoo was also topped by 6-0, 6-0 score to the Rams' Millie Coombes in the No. 3 slot.

Lattana Sithara and sophomore
Miranda Smith both took a game from their Jefferson counterparts, but ultimately fell by a 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 decision, respectively.
Freshman
Alyssa Madden picked up the Cavaliers' match victory following a win by default.
Following today's action, the Cavaliers move to 0-5 overall, but will look to secure their first victory on Tuesday, March 19th when they travel to Center Valley, PA to take on DeSales University. Match time is slated for 3:30pm.
