Last Meeting: This is the first meeting between William Smith and Cabrini
Hailing from Geneva, NY, William Smith went 15-5 in 2018, including 9-1 in Liberty League play. The Herons claimed their third consecutive conference title with a 15-10 win over Then No. 19 Ithaca, before making their 19th NCAA Tournament appearance, one that including an 18-8 first round triumph over Endicott College.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Cabrini 20, Widener 9 (3/14/2019, Radnor, PA)
After surrendering an early goal, the Cavaliers found their offensive rhythm, exploding for 10 consecutive goals, including three woman-down tallies. Widener briefly interrupted the Blue and white scoring run, but Cabrini closed the period with three of the last four goals to build a 15-5 lead at the half.

Senior Avery Murphy and freshman Dana Carlson combined for 17 points in the victory. Murphy paired four goals and five assists to go with five caused turnovers, four draw controls and three ground balls, while Carlson added a season high seven goals, each coming in the first half, and six draw controls.

The Blue and White defense was stingy, as it forced a season-high 19 turnovers, with 11 players forcing at least one miscue. Freshman Sam Hamalak added four saves to collect the victory, before senior Devon Scharf notched three stops in relief.

William Smith Last Time Out: William Smith 19, Bard 4 (3/16/2019, Geneva, NY)
The Herons took control of the action in the opening minutes and never looked back, as they cruised to a 19-4 home win over Bard to improve to 2-0 in the Liberty League. William Smith outshot the visitors 38-9, forced 16 free position shots and won 19 of the game's 25 draw controls.

Sophomore Ellie Burns netted two goals in the opening 3:35 of the game and the Herons were flying. The sophomore tallied four of her five goals in the first half, as William Smith built a 10-1 lead at the break. Bard looked to rally in the second half with three consecutive goals, but William Smith closed the game with the final eight scores.

Junior Nicki Santora added three goals, while sophomores Delia Lawver and Anna Murphy joined junior Rachel Slagle with two goals each. Freshman Payton McMahon and sophomore Mekayla Montgomery combined for 11 draw controls, while sophomore Ellen Arena paired four caused turnovers and four ground balls. Sophomore goaltender Jules Kennedy recorded three saves to earn the win.
