RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team fell by a 9-0 final in today's nonconference matchup against the Ursinus College Bears.
Freshmen
Elizabeth Baddoo and
Alyssa Madden were topped by an 8-0 final in No. 2 doubles, while sophomore
Miranda Smith and freshman
Zanaia Brown also fell by an 8-0 final in No. 3 doubles.
Juniors
Sydney Lynch and
Lattana Sithara took two games from their Ursinus counterparts, but were ultimately edged by an 8-2 final in the No. 1 flight.
In singles play, Sithara and Madden secured the Cavs only game victories as they won one and two games, respectively. Sithara was ultimately topped by a 6-0, 6-1 final, while Madden battled, but eventually fell 6-1, 6-1.
Lynch, Baddoo, Smith and freshman
Fanta Bility were each topped by 6-0, 6-0 decisions, respectively.
The Blue and White will look to secure their first victory of the spring season when they host Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, Aprli 3rd. Match time is slated for 3:30pm.
