Rowan seized control of the game, as it scored seven of the game's next eight goals to build a 10-4 lead with 5:33 left in the first half.
The Cavaliers did not goal away, as Murphy and Hughes combined for three goals in a space of 100 seconds to pull Cabrini to within 10-7 at the half.
The Profs pushed their cushion to 14-7 with the opening four goals of the second half. Cabrini, again, clawed its way back into the game, as Hughes, Tutzauer and Murphy marked the scoring column.
The Cavaliers cut their deficit to 14-10 with 16:43 to play, but five unanswered Rowan goals proved to be too much to overcome, as the Blue and White found itself looking up at a 19-10 deficit with just over 10 minutes to play.
Rowan established its offensive rhythm at the center circle, as it won 27 of the day's 37 draws, which led to a 46-25 advantage in shots. Meanwhile, Cabrini committed a season-high 27 turnovers and allow the Profs to attempt 17 free position shots.
Maddy Bray led Rowan (5-3) with seven goals and four ground balls, while Liz Kramer added three goals and 15 draw controls.
The Cavaliers will return their attention to Atlantic East Conference action on Wednesday, when they host Marywood University (5-4, 1-0 Atlantic East) in a rematch of last year's Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championship. Game time is set for 7pm a Edith Robb Dixon Field.
