SWARTHMORE, PA – The Cabrini men's tennis team dropped a nonconference matchup this morning to the hosting Swarthmore College Garnet by a 9-0 final.
The Garnet tallied strong match wins in doubles play as they took an 8-0 decision in the No. 2 and No. 3 flights. Sophomore's
Nick Falcone and
Ben Mead recorded two game wins, but were ultimately edged by an 8-2 final.

Vince Paetow were topped in No. 3 and No. 1 singles, respectively, by matching 6-0, 6-0 decisions.
Mead and junior
Matthew DeMaria also fell by 6-0, 6-0 finals in No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively.

Nick Tilley battled his Garnet counterpart, but was eventually topped 6-2, 6-2. Freshman
James Humes rounded out the Cavs with game wins as he took a narrow defeat by way of a 6-4, 6-3 final in the No. 6 flight.
Following today match, the Blue and White move to 5-3 overall. They will look to get back on track on Wednesday, April 3
rd when they travel to Annville, PA to face the Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College. Match time is slated for 3:30pm.
