RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini softball team pushed its win streak to six games, as it scored a pair of wins over Cedar Crest College today at Cabrini Field.
The Blue and White (16-12) banged out 12 hits, including a two run homer in the bottom of the sixth in its 6-1 victory in the opener, while the Cavaliers erased a 3-0 deficit to score a walk-off 4-3 win in the nightcap.
Game 1
Cabrini grabbed an early lead, as junior

Aysiah Cintron. The Cavaliers doubled the lead in the third, as Schell scored on a single by freshman
Allison Martin.
Cedar Crest got one of the runs back in the fourth on a sacrifice fly, but that's all they would get as Cabrini freshman pitcher
Grace Stairiker kept the Falcons off balance.
The Blue and White extended its lead in the fifth, as Schell scored her second run of the game, scoring on a single by sophomore
Amber Seamen. The Cavaliers put the game away in the sixth inning with three runs.
A Cintron single scored classmate
Jess Redding. Schell then stepped to the dish and blasted her third home run of the season over the center field fence.
The junior went 4-4 with three RBI and three runs scored in the win, while Cintron finished with two base knocks. Stairiker earned her 10th victory in the circle, after scattering five hits.
Game 2
The Falcons grabbed an early lead, as they played three runs in the second and third innings.
The Cavaliers got on the board in the third, as Seamen's double scores classmate
Olivia Young.
Cabrini took advantage of a Cedar Crest error in the sixth inning, as Martin reached on a fielding error and advanced to third. The rookie crossed the dish on freshman
Emily Wargo's sacrifice fly, pulling the Blue and White to within 3-2.
Cedar Crest looked to add an insurance run in the seventh, as two Falcons reach second and third with no outs. Redding made a play on a line drive then hit Cintron to complete the double play and end the threat.
Cabrini carried its momentum into the bottom of the seventh. Cintron opened the frame with a single and advanced to second. Schell singles up the middle, scoring Cintron to even the game and taking second on the throw.
Young then singled to left and took second as Schell advanced to third. After an infield pop-up, Martin put the game to bed with an RBI single to center field, scoring Schell with the game-winning run.
The top three batters in the Blue and White lineup, Cintron, Schell and Young, combined to go 7-11 with three runs scored. Sophomore
Casey Scheuren collected the complete game win, allowing three earned runs on eight hits.
The Cavaliers till return to Atlantic East Conference action on Saturday, when they celebrate Senior Day with a visit from Marywood University (13-15, 1-3 Atlantic East). First pitch is slated for 12 noon at Cabrini Field.
