IMMACULATA, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team fell by a 9-0 final to the hosting Immaculata University Mighty Macs on Saturday afternoon.
The Macs collected 8-0 victories in No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, while earning an 8-1 victory in the No. 2 slot.
Junior
Sydney Lynch was topped by a 6-0, 6-0 final in No. 1 singles, while sophomore
Raechel Aviles and junior
Lattana Sithara fell by matching scores in flights No. 2 and No. 3.
Freshmen
Alyssa Madden took a game in the first set over her Mac counterpart, but ultimately fell by a 6-1, 6-0 final in the No. 4 slot.
Classmate
Zanaia Brown hung tough in No. 5 singles, but was eventually edged by Immaculata's Elizabeth Lipscomb via a 6-1, 6-1 decision.
Sophomore
Miranda Smith rounded out singles play as she fell by a 6-0, 6-0 final in flight No. 6.
Following today's action, the Blue and White move to 0-13 on the season and 0-2 in Atlantic East Conference play. They will look to turn things around on Wednesday, April 17th when they host rival Neumann University. Match time is slated for 3:30pm.
