What's At Stake
Today's winner will advance to Saturday's inaugural Atlantic East Conference Women's Lacrosse championship game, where they will face the winner of today's other semifinal between No. 1 Marywood and No. 4 Neumann.
The Cavaliers are looking to make their 23rd appearance in the conference championship game, while the Saints are seeking their first appearance in a league title tilt.

Senior
Avery Murphy put the Cavaliers ahead just 12 seconds after the opening whistle, but the Saints evened the score with a woman-up goal just three minutes later. The goal marked the final time the game was tied. Sophomore
Ashley Tutzauer's goal at the 25:11 mark and sparked Cabrini to a 6-0 run, including three goals in a 53 second span. Murphy's third goal put the Blue and White ahead 7-1 with 16:21 left in the first half.
Marymount responded with back to back goals by seniors Jessica Crew and Bridgette Stacom. After Tutzauer's fourth goal, Crew pulled within 8-4 with 12 minutes left in the period, but the Cavaliers closed the stanza with another six consecutive goals, as freshman
Shea Neary's second maker gave Cabrini a 14-4 lead at the half.
In the opening 30 minutes, the Cavaliers outshot the Saints 31-12, including 25 shots on goal, and committed just four turnovers. Cabrini's defensive effort held Marymount to just 7-14 in first half clear attempts and pressured the home team into 16 first half miscues.
Tutzauer led the Cavaliers, matching a career best with eight points on six goals and two assists. Murphy added five points, including four goals, seven draw controls, five caused turnovers and four ground balls. Crew finished the afternoon with three goals and four caused turnovers, while Stacom added two goals and three caused turnovers. Junior Elaina Cassel secured five draws and matched freshman Caitlyn Dunn with three ground balls each. Senior goaltender Holly Reik posted 16 saves in the loss.
Cabrini Last Time Out: Cabrini 18, Immaculata 4 (4/25/2019, Radnor, PA)
Freshman
Dana Carlson scored the first of her nine goals less than three minutes into the action, but it was a span of 2:25 during which the Blue and White took control of the action. Carlson and Neary recorded three points each, as Cabrini tallied five goals between 24:03 and 21:41, extending its lead to 6-0.
The Blue and White pushed its lead to 14-1 after a first half that saw it outshoot the Mighty Macs 31-7. The Cavaliers also held Immaculata to just 9-19 in clear attempts and pressured the visitors into 22 first half turnovers.
Tutzauer paired three goals, three assists and three ground balls. Murphy and Neary joined sophomore
Taylor Dimmerling with three points each, as the trio combined for five goals and four assists. Murphy added eight draw controls and three ground balls, while Neary posted four caused turnovers and five ground balls.

Marymount Last Time Out: Marymount 22, Gwynedd Mercy 11 (4/27/2019, Arlington, VA)
The Saints netted the first five goals of the games and never looked back, as they cruised to a victory in the tournament's opening round. Marymount never allowed the Griffins to battle their way back into the game, as it built a comfortable 18-8 lead at the half.
Crew led the Saints with eight goals and five draw controls, while Stacom paired four goals, two assists, six draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls. Cassell matched Stacom's four goals, while classmate Madison Davis dishes out four assists.
Sophomore Caroline Wolford and Cassel caused three turnovers each, while freshman Emily Peters adding to the defensive effort with five draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls. Reik scored the victory with six saves in just over 31 minutes of action.
