ST. DAVIDS, PA – The Cabrini men's soccer team offensive press in the final minutes resulted in three shots in the final four minutes, including one with just over 90 seconds on the clock, but the Cavaliers could not find the tying goal in a 2-1 loss at Eastern.
Cabrini's loss to its Eagle Road rivals dropped the club to 2-4-1 on the season, while the Eagles improved to 3-3-1.
The teams played to a scoreless draw in the opening 45 minutes of play, despite the Eagles earning a 7-2 advantage in shots and corner kicks.
Just three minutes into the second half, Eastern grabbed a lead on a Julio Arden shot. Derek Buhrman put the home team up 2-0 in the 57th minute.

The Cavaliers continued to press to score the game-tying goal, recording four of its nine second half shots in the game's final 10 minutes.
Cabrini finished the game with 13 shots, including five on target, with a pair of corner kicks.

After three consecutive road matches, the Cavaliers will return to the friendly confines of Edith Robb Dixon Field on Saturday, as they play host to King's College (5-1). The opening kickoff is slated for 12pm.
