RADNOR, PA – The Cavaliers scored an important 76-67 win over the visiting Marymount Saints today at Nerney Field House in a rematch of the 2019 Atlantic East Conference championship.
The Blue and White got contributions from all 11 players who saw action in today's victory, as the club improved to 10-4 overall and 2-0 in the Atlantic East.
All 11 players marked the scoring column, while eight grabbed at least one rebound and nine recorded at least one assist.
Junior
Kate Lannon led the way with 18 points on 7-11 shooting, while classmate
Lexi Edwards added 13 points. Senior
Meghan Matthews grabbed a game high 11 rebounds and joined junior

Sydney Kesselman with seven points.
Sophomore Katie McShea got the Saints off to a hot start, scoring 11 of the team's 16 points, while graduate student Abby Fisher added five, as the visitors led 16-15 after a first quarter that saw seven lead changes.
The Cavaliers took control of the game in the second quarter. Trailing 23-22 a the 6:14 mark, a triple by junior
Ashley Tutzauer sparked an 11-0 spurt that included threes by Lannon and Searcy, to take a 33-23 lead with 4:04 left in the half.
The Blue and White carried its 39-33 lead into the halftime break after shooting .467 from the field and committing just six first half turnovers.
Cabrini pushed its lead to a game high 11 points midway through the third quarter after Lannon's jumper at the 5:57 mark capped a 7-0 win.
While both teams struggled with their respective shooting touches, recording just four field goals each, the Cavaliers managed to extend their lead to 56-46 after three quarters after connecting on 7-8- from the charity stripe.
The Saints looked to make a comeback in the final period, slicing the Blue and White lead to just 62-57 with just over four minutes to play, but back to back buckets by freshman
Miranda Liebtag and sophomore
Dani Tyrell pushed the cushion back to nine points with 2:59 on the clock.
Despite recording just one made field goal over the game's final 2:59, the Cavaliers put the win to bed at the free throw line, where it converted 6-8 over the final 1:21.
Cabrini committed a season-low 10 turnovers, while making 21 free throws and blocking seven shots, both season highs.
McShea finished with 22 points and nine rebounds for Marymount (11-4, 1-1 Atlantic East), while Fisher finished with 11 points.
The Blue and White will look to extend its current three game win streak on Wednesday, when they host Gwynedd Mercy (6-7, 1-0 Atlantic East). Tipoff is slated for 6pm at Nerney Field House.
