The Lions made the most of their first half scoring chances and never looked back, cruising to a home win over the Blue and White.

TCNJ scored 10 first half goals on just 17 shots, as the home side built in insurmountable lead. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers' offense was not as efficient. The Blue and White came up empty on each of its nine first half shot attempts, including four free position attempts before the halftime break.

Avery Murphy accounted for both of Cabrini's goals to go with four draw controls. Sophomore Shea Neary added five shots, four draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Fellow sophomore goaltender Sam Hamalak recorded four saves in the loss.

Seniors Alexandria Fitzpatrick and Olivia Cleale led the Lions, as the duo combined for seven goals and five assists, while classmate Kasey Donoghue added three goals. Junior Avery Sweeney collected five draws, while senor goaltender Ali Natalicchio recorded four fourth quarter saves.

Leading 2-1 just 90 seconds after the opening whistle, the Cavaliers scored five unanswered goals to game control of the game.

The Cavaliers slowed the game and reeled off five unanswered goals to take a 7-1 lead on Neary's goal with 6:41 to play. Junior Taylor Dimmerling posted three points during the run, while sophomore Dana Carlson added two, including the 100th point of her career.

Senior Lauren Hughes netted her second goal of the stanza in the period's final minutes to send the Blue and White into the halftime break with a commanding 8-2 lead.

The Bears cut the Cabrini lead in half with back to back goals midway through the second half, but the Cavaliers responded immediately, as Carlson and Dimmerling scored in a span of 45 seconds to rebuild the six goal cushion.

Dimmerling paced the Blue and White offense with six points on four goals and two assists. Carlson tallied five draw controls and three caused turnovers and joined the program's 100 career point club with four points in the victory, reaching the mark in just 24 games.

Neary chipped in with four ground balls, three caused turnovers and two draw controls, while Hamalak secured five saves and six ground balls to earn the win in the Cabrini cage.

TCNJ Last Time Out: No. 11 TCNJ 20, FDU-Florham 3 (3/7/2020, Ewing, NJ)
The Lions scored early and often as they rolled to a comfortable win over FDU-Florham.

Fitzpatrick got the team off on the right foot, scoring three goals in the opening four minutes. The lead swelled to 8-0 midway through the opening stanza, as Donoghue scored four consecutive goals.

All told, TCNJ outshot the visitors 35-3 on the day and secured 19 of the game's 24 draws.

Seven Lions marked the scoring column with Fitzpatick, Donoghue and junior Erin Jaffe combining for 14 goals, while Cleale served up eight assists.

Sweeney recorded nine draw controls, two more than Fitzpatrick, while Natalicchio was only needed for one save.
