RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's basketball team controlled the scoreboard for more than 25 minutes tonight, but a decisive seven minute span of the second half proved to be the difference, as the Cavaliers fell to the Rowan Profs 80-71 tonight inside Nerney Field House.
Five Cavaliers scored in double figures, led by junior
Christian Lane's 15 points. Senior
Ryan Byars and sophomore
Josh Jones added double-doubles. Byars paired 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Jones corralled a career high 15 boards to go with his 10 points.

The Cavaliers built a slim lead early, as a Byars three point play put Cabrini ahead five points in the game's opening minutes.
The home team's lead swelled to a game-high nine points at 23-14 after a Jones free throw at the 8:05 mark capped a 7-0 Cabrini run.
The Profs closed the opening stanza on a 12-6 run, pulling to within 39-38 at the half.
Cabrini maintained its slim halftime advantage on the strength of .471 shooting from the floor, while holding the nation's fifth high scoring offense to just .317 shooting, including 4-22 from beyond the three point line.
Despite the visitors jumping ahead in the early minutes of the second half, the Blue and White immediately responded. A Donoven dunk and a pair of Lane jumpers re-established Cabrini's six point cushion with 15 minutes to play.

Meanwhile, the visitors took full advantage, using a 21-6 run to build a 63-54 lead with just eight minutes to play.
The Cavaliers stayed in the fight, as a three pointer from senior
