RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini swim teams celebrated their senior classes today with a pair of victories over the Marywood Pacers at the Dixon Center Pool. The women scored a 137-94 win, while the men triumphed 106-72.
The Cavaliers won 24 of the day's 28 events, as the teams closed their regular seasons with matching 2-0 marks.
Junior
Sarah Gudas led the Cavaliers with a trio of victories. The junior claimed wins in the 50, 100 and 200 yard freestyles, reaching the wall in 26.52, 58.86 and 2:10.25, respectively.
Classmate
Tara McCloskey and freshman
Belinda Hedden also scored multiple wins on the day.
McCloskey posted the day's fastest times in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:11.52) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:36.76).
Hedden was the first to the wall in the 500 and 1,000 yard freestyle events, recording times of 6:10.01 and 12:41.64.
On the men's side, junior
Tre Fissella and senior
Cameron Mousley joined Gudas with three wins on the day.
Fissella again etched his name in the program record book with victorious times of 21.48 in the 50 yard freestyle and 51.67 in the 100 yard butterfly. The junior also claimed a win in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:12.66).
Two of Mousley's wins came in the day's longest events, as the senior won the 1,000 yard freestyle (10:27.56), the 500 yard freestyle (5:08.28) and the 200 yard individual medley (2:11.71).
During today's two breaks, the Cavaliers took time to recognize their 10 seniors with a special ceremony.

These seniors have been integral parts of the growth of Cabrini's swim programs and have led the Blue and White to the 2018 AMCC women's championship and both the men's and women's Atlantic East Conference crowns in 2019 and 2020.
With their regular season now complete, the Cavaliers will turn their collective attention to the 2021 Atlantic East Conference championships. The two day meet is slated for April 23-24 in Scranton, PA.
