RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini women's soccer team celebrated their senior day with a thrilling 1-0 victory this evening over the Wesley Wolverines.

Brittany Purdy and
Kimberly Benge were honored before the game for their contributions to the program. The duo helped lead the Blue and White to an impressive 38 victories over their three seasons of action, including 16-3-4 record against conference opponents. The pair also shined on the night as Prudy picked up an assist, while Benge logged her first career shutout.
The Cavs' lone strike came early as junior
Maria Hagan took a pass from the aforementioned Purdy and buried it in the back of the net in the 16th minute. Hagan would go on to lead the Cavs with three shots on the evening, two of which landed on goal.
Purdy and junior Bridget O'Neil would tally a pair of shots each, while six other Cavaliers would mark the shot column. In total, the Blue and White outshot the visiting Wolverines 13-6, while also holding a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal and registering a 5-1 advantage in corners.
Wesley's Megan Shacklock paced the visitors with a game high four shots, while Kiyanna Gill and Emily Magness split duties in net.
Following tonight's match, the Cavs move to 1-0 on their shortened season and will next travel to Immauclata, PA to face the Mighty Macs on Sunday, April 11th. Kick off is slated for 1pm.
