RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini men's tennis team improved to 3-0 following today's 9-0 victory over the Nuemann University Knights.
Seniors
Ben Mead and
Mason Bennetch tallied an 8-0 victory in double's No. 1 flight, while classmates
Max Schneider and
Dalton Roberto matched with an 8-0 final in the No. 2 slot. Junior
Ryan Calderaro and sophomore
Tien Tran earned a victory in the No. 3 slot following a Neumann forfeit.
In singles play, Mead took a convincing 6-1, 6-2 win in flight No. 1, while Bennetch and Schneider breezed through the No. 2 and 3 slots respectively, following a 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 win. Roberto capped the Cavs in action with a 6-2, 6-1 final in the No. 4 slot.
Following today's victory, the Blue and White improve to 3-0 overall. They will cap their regular season with a matchup against Immaculata University. A makeup date has yet to be determined. Continue to follow CabriniAthletics.com for the latest schedules.
