MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Cabrini women's soccer team could not find its offensive rhythm tonight, as the Cavaliers suffered a 3-0 defeat at Montclair State in the season opener for both sides.

Ella Marrollo notched the only two shots for the Blue and White in the loss, one coming in each half. Meanwhile, the Red Hawks took advantage, recording 18 shots on the night, evenly split between the first and second halves.
The home side opened the scoring in the 29th minute before adding a second marker in the final seconds before the halftime break.
Goaltender
Ashley Tutzauer suffered the loss despite notching nine saves, the most the graduate student has tallied since a 14 save performance against Johns Hopkins on Nov. 10, 2018, a span of 22 matches
The Cavaliers will look to regroup before returning to action on Wednesday, when it makes the short trek across the road to visit Eastern in the annual Battle for Eagle Road. Kickoff is slated for 4:30pm.
