RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini University women's swimming team split an Atlantic East tri-meet on Saturday.
The Cavs defeated Saint Mary's of Maryland by a score of 111-92, while falling to Marymount 136-68.
Freshman Kylie Carney won the 100 free with a time of 57.65 and was second in the 50 free at 26.14.
Freshman Rory Schreiber and senior Belinda Hedden went 2-3 in the 1000 yard freestyle as Schreiber swam a 12:34.14, with Hedden swimming a 12:36.39.
Freshman Gia Markakis and sophomore Kate Ziegler also went 2-3 in the 200 free as Markakis swam a 2:14.28 and Ziegler swam a 2:20.56.
Schreiber and Hedden again went 2-3 in the 500 free with times of 6:04.61 and 6:10.45.
In the 200 free relay, the team of Schreiber, junior Jennifer Allison, sophomore Abby Windon and Carney was second with a time of 1:50.46.
Windon was also third in the 100 back with a time of 1:07.89.
