Box Score BABSON PARK, FL – The Cabrini women's lacrosse team continued its hot start, as it cruised to a 19-5 win at Webber International today in Florida.

Senior Olivia Little paced the Cavaliers with six points and four goals to go with eight ground balls, one more goal than classmate Dana Carlson.

Seniors Kelly Sweeney and Shea Neary joined freshman Morgan McClintock with two goals and an assist each, while freshman Neve Murphy scored twice.

Graduate student Kathleen Emche, sophomore Caroline Gallagher and freshman Cassidy Starner also notched their first goals of the campaign in the victory.

Senior goaltender Sam Hamalak tallied a pair of saves to earn the victory, while freshman Abbey Fenton and senior Jessica Whalen were called on for one save each.

The Cavaliers got off to a hot start, as Little opened the scoring just 44 seconds into the game. Carlson added two of her three goals over the next three minutes. A pair of Webber goals sandwiched a Neary marker, before Neary, Little and McClintock closed the first quarter with three unanswered goals for a 7-2 lead.

The Blue and White offense continued its solid play in the second period, as five Cavaliers combined for seven goals, including two each by Little and Sweeney. Cabrini built a 28-6 advantage in shots, as it carried a 14-4 lead into the halftime break.

Murphy netted the lone third quarter marker, before Cabrini scored the first four goals of the final period, extending its lead to 19-4.

Cabrini closed the afternoon with a 38-9 advantage in shots, while pressuring the Warriors into 31 turnovers.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Thursday, when they pay a visit to Div. II University of Tampa. The opening draw is slated for 11:30am.
