ABBOTTSTOWN, PA – The Cabrini men's golf team left itself some work to do in tomorrow's second round, as the Cavaliers closed the first round of the McDaniel Spring Invitational in 13th place in the 18 team field.
The Blue and White battled tough, cold conditions to post a team score of 334 on the par 72, 6,713 yard circuit at the Bridges Golf Club.
Senior
Gerald Haftmann was the only Cavaliers to finish today's first round in the top 20, as his 80 was good for a 17th place tie. In the field of 89 golfers.

Liam Caspar tied for 34th after shooting 82, while classmate
Daniel Murphy and sneoir
Jonathan Papp carded matching rounds of 86 to tie for 60th.

Sean Caspar closed the day tied for 70th after today's round of 88.
McDaniel posted a team score of 309 to close today's opening round with a seven stroke lead over Franklin & Marshall. Dickinson (317), Swarthmore (320) and Randolph-Macon (322) rounded out the top five.
Ryan McGarry will enter Sunday's second round with a two stroke lead over Dickinson's Tyler Tornoe after posting an 18-hole score of 73.
The Cavaliers will look to move up the leaderboard during Sunday's second round, which will begin at 12:30pm.
