RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini women's tennis team opened up Atlantic East Conference play but was narrowly bested at home versus the Gwynedd Mercy University Griffins, falling to 3-5 on the season anad 0-1 in AEC play.

Caroline Boileau secured the team's first point with an 8-5 victory.
In singles play the Griffins picked up a victory in flight No. 1 but the Cavs responded with a pair of wins courtesty of senior
Natalie Bell scored 6-1, 6-2 wins in the No. 2 match and junior
Syd Kesselman triumphed in the No. 3 flight, 7-5, 6-1.
Bradl was narrowly defeated in the extra set of No. 4 singles match, 6-1, 2-6, 4-6
Bility won the fight flight was a 6-2,6-2 final score while
Boileau fell 0-6, 1-6 in the final singles match.
The Cavaliers will look to get back into the win column this Wednesday as they host the Marymount University Saints in another AEC match.
