RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini University women's tennis performed admirably but ultimately fell to the Marymount University Saints, by a 6-3 final.
With the loss the Cavs drop to 3-6 on the season and 0-2 in Atlantic East Conference Play.
The Blue and White fell behind during doubles, play, earning a victory in just one of the three matches. Cabrini's No. 2 duo of junior
Natalie Bell and Syd Kesselman secured the team's first point with an 8-4 victory.
In singles play the Saints picked up a victory in flight No. 1 but Bell responded with a 6-4, 6-2 win in flight No. 2 for the Cavs. Junior
Fanta Bility earned the only other point for the Cavaliers with a pair of 6-4 victories in flight No. 5.
The Cavaliers will look to turn things around on Tuesday, April 19th, as they to Scranton, PA for a match with the Marywood University Pacers. Match is set to begin at 3:30 PM.
