GLENSIDE, Pa. – Arcadia scored in the 18th, 24th and 68th minutes on Wednesday night as the Knights (3-3-1) handed Cabrini (3-1) its first loss of the season by a 3-1 score in women's soccer action.
Arcadia had a 21-9 advantage in shots, with Taylor Gubler and Amanda Thaler each having a goal and an assist for the Knights.
Cabrini got on the board in the 77th minute, as freshman forward Alyssa DeGeorge scored on a pass from freshman forward Gabby Palladino. Palladino would have two more shots at the goal in the final 10 minutes, as did junior forward Maggie McCay, but, the Cavs could not get a second goal.
Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Hassall made nine saves in 73 minutes, while freshman goalkeeper Lindsey Heiser played the last 17 minutes for the Cavaliers, who will be at Goucher Saturday.
