FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Cabrini University men's golf team is tied for ninth among ten teams after Day One of the George Cangero Invitational hosted by Farmingdale State out on Long Island.
Playing the challenging Bethpage State Park Red Course, the Cavaliers are tied with Nichols College with a score of 306, but, are just 26 strokes off the pace of the top team at 280.
On the Par 70 course, junior Liam Caspar and graduate student Jonathan Papp are both tied for 12th overall with a three-over-par 73. Junior Dan Murphy is second on the squad with a 79, followed by junior Sean Caspar with a 79. Senior Zach Miller carded an 83 for the Cavs.
