RADNOR, Pa. – Three different Cabrini players scored as the Cavaliers (3-0) opened its home portion of their schedule with a 3-1 win over Widener (1-2) Thursday night in field hockey action.
Freshman forward
Maggie Cella, sophomore midfielder
Adrianna Jones and junior midfielder
Daly Ewing each scored as Cabrini stayed undefeated.
For Widener, Margaret Howe-Consiglio scored the lone goal on an assist from Maddie Hoyer with just 4:16 left in the contest.
Cabrini struck first after a scoreless first quarter as Ewing scored on a deflection from junior midfielder
Caroline Gallagher to account for the only scoring in the first half, as the Cavaliers led 1-0 3:38 into the second quarter.
Cabrini would score twice in the third quarter, as Jones navigated through traffic for a 2-0 lead, followed by Cella's goal 6:30 later for the 3-0 advantage. Freshman forward

Cabrini sophomore goalkeeper
Courtney Keith made four saves on the night, while Widener goalkeeper Lilly Rejrat made three saves in 42 minutes of action. Abby Blake made one save in the final 18 minutes for the Pride.
