RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini University women's swimming team opened its 2023 portion of the schedule on Friday afternoon, dropping a 104-79 decision to Ursinus.
Gia Markakis earned a first-place finish with a 1:17.11 finish in the 100 yard breaststroke. She also had a second-place finish in the 200 free at 2:11.30.
Kate Ziegler was second in the 1000 free at 12:52.02, and also picked up a fourth-place finish in the 100 back at 1:10.21.
Liz Ferguson was second in the 100 fly at 1:12.60.
Abby Windon was second in the 200 IM at 2:29.72 and was third in the 100 back 1:07.01.
Rory Schreiber was second in the 500 free at 6:07.32, and third in the 200 IM at 2:34.77.
Jennifer Allison was third in the 1000 free at 12:53.89, and third in the 100 free at 1:04.59.
Also finishing in third were: Kenzi Eldabh in the 50 free at 31.08, Lauren Belardo in the 100 breast at 1:37.38 and Belinda Hedden in the 500 free at 6:08.53.
Hedden was fourth in the 200 free at 2:17.67 and the 100 free at 1:11.78., while Erin Moran was fourth in the 50 free at 31.76.
The Cavs took the 200 free relay at 2:01.66 with the team of Allison, Moran, Ziegler and Hedden.
Cabrini heads to Cedar Crest on Saturday.
