ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cabrini University women's swimming team continued to cut down their times on their match to the Atlantic East Championship as the Cavs defeated Cedar Crest 142-97 in an AEC matchup on Saturday.

The day started with the team of Abby Windon, Gia Markakis, Kate Ziegler and Rory Schreiber took second in the 200 yard medley relay.

In the 1000 free, Belinda Hedden was first with a time of 12:27.41, with Liz Ferguson in second at 12:41.69.

In the 200 free, Windon took second at 2:13.85 and Erin Moran was fourth at 2:38.96.

Ziegler was first in the 100 back at 1:09.62, with Lauren Belardo going third at 1:24.87.

The 100 breast saw Markakis win the event at 1:19.31.

In the 50 free, Schreiber won the event at 28.55, with Moran second at 32.72.

Schreiber picked up her second win of the day in the 100 free at 1:03.32, with Jennifer Allison second at 1:07.84.

Windon got her second win of the day in the 200 back at 2:24.38.

Markakis won the 200 breast at 2:50.22, with Ferguson in second at 2:57.69.

Hedden was second in the 500 free at 6:09.51, with Ziegler in third at 6:09.93.

Allison won the 100 fly at 1:23.92.

Markakis won her third event of the day in the 200 IM at 2:33.67, with Ferguson in second at 2:38.30.

Finally, the team of Schreiber, Hedden, Ziegler and Windon won the 200 free relay at 1:57.53.

Cabrini takes on Marywood and Gallaudet next weekend in Washington.
