RADNOR, Pa. – Cabrini darted out to a 19-0 lead in the fist 5:02 of the contest as the Cavs (7-10, 3-1 Atlantic East) defeated Centenary (9-8, 0-4 Atlantic East) 83-42 Wednesday night in women's basketball action.
The Cavs shot over 40 percent from the field in three of the four quarters en route to their fourth straight win and improved to 3-1 in league play.
For Cabrini, Miranda Liebtag had 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting including a perfect 3-for-3 from the three-point line. As a team, Cabrini made 13 three-pointers on the night.
Ella Gordon had 12 points with Nicole Villalta-Barrantes netting ten off the bench. All 13 players scored a least one point in the contest.
Sofia Mendez had 13 points on the night for Centenary.
Cabrini led 25-7 after one quarter, holding Centenary to just 3-for-15 shooting in the first ten minutes. Cabrini got the lead to as much as 46 points in the contest and never trailed.
Giana Rullo had seven rebounds and Katie Rodriguez added in six, while Rodriguez and Kai Williams each had three blocks.
Ava Possenti had four steals for Cabrini, who will travel to Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday.
