IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Cabrini University women's swimming team closed its dual meet and regular season on Saturday morning as the Cavs defeated Immaculata 113-71.
Abby Windon was a double winner for the Cavs, as she captured the 200 IM with a time of 2:29.75 and the 500 free at 5:49.38. Liz Ferguson captured the 200 breaststroke at 2:48.03, with Rory Schreiber winning the 1000 free at 12:35.19.
Kate Ziegler won the 200 fly at 2:40.77, with Belinda Hedden winning the 100 free at 1:02.28.
Cabrini won both relays, as the team of Ziegler, Ferguson, Gia Markakis and Jennifer Allison won the 200 medley relay at 2:09.94, while the team of Hedden, Allison, Windon and Schreiber won the 200 free relay at 1:54.09.
Ferguson was second in the 1000 free at 12:42.10, while Hedden took second in the 200 free at 2:17.62. Allison was second in the 50 free at 28.86, with Schreiber taking second in the 200 fly at 2:46.90. Patricia McDonald was second in the 100 free at 1:08.62.
Third place finishes were earned by McDonald in the 200 free (2:43.12), Lauren Belardo in the 200 IM (3:11.10) and Kenzi Eldabh in the 100 free at 1:09.88.
The team of McDonald, Ziegler, Eldabh and Erin Moran were second in the 200 free relay at 2:03.16.
During the meet, the Cavs honored Eldabh and Catherine Sexton who were swimming in their final dual meet for the Cavs.
Cabrini will get set for the Atlantic East Championship hosted by Saint Mary's College of Maryland on February 10-12.
