RADNOR, Pa. – Fifteen Cavaliers players found the back of the net at least one time Wednesday afternoon as the Cabrini University women's lacrosse team trounced Centenary University 17-1 at home.
Shea Neary,
Caroline Gallagher, and eight other Cavaliers netted goals in the first period as Cabrini held a 12-0 lead after just 15:00 of action. In the second, the Cavs added two more with goals from
Julia Flaherty and
Sammie Voelker to take a 14-0 lead into the intermission.
In the third, the Cyclones scored their first Atlantic East Conference goal of the season as Zaariah Lamothe snuck one past the Cabrini keeper. Defenders
Moira Ward and
Alyssa Kolasa responded right away as they each scored their first-career goals. Then in the fourth, freshman Sophie Sabocinski netted her first-career goal and capped off the 17-1 victory.
In the win, graduate student
Olivia Little notched her 100th-career collegiate assist.
The Cavaliers return to action on Saturday, April 15 as Cabrini heads to Immaculata for an Atlantic East Conference matchup. First draw is set for 1 p.m.
