Radnor, PA - On Saturday afternoon, the Cabrini University Men's Basketball team hosted Gwynedd Mercy University for their second game of Atlantic East Conference play. The Griffins created an early double-digit lead before Cabrini called upon strong three point shooting to bring themselves back into the contest. After GMU took a 42-33 lead into halftime, the Griffins used tremendous second half efficiency to distance themselves and hand the Cavaliers their first Atlantic East Conference loss.

-Donoven Mack put up numbers on both ends, totaling 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Mack made 3 of his 5 three-point tries and all 6 of his free throw attempts on the afternoon.
-Cabrini was productive beyond the arc, draining 7 threes in each half to shoot 14 of 29 (48%) on their 3pt tries. Jayden Blakey led the Cavs with 5 for 7 shooting from deep.
-The Cavaliers capitalized on 13 trips to the free throw line, converting 21 of their 24 attempts (87.5%).
-Eric Neal and Bryan Warren joined Mack and Blakey in double figures, as Neal and Warren scored 10 points apiece. 
-Aarick Salata generated 14 points off his 5 assists, as four of his passes led to Cabrini three-point field goals.
-Isaac Brady and GMU's Mike Marable each collected a game high 8 rebounds in the contest. Brady corralled 2 offensive and 6 defensive boards, while Marable drew 3 offensive rebounds and 5 defensively.
-Gwynedd Mercy caught fire from the right wing, as 9 of the Griffins' 13 threes came above the break from the right side.
-The Griffins offense was strong inside and in transition. Gwynedd Mercy created 38 points in the paint off 19-32 (59%) shooting from the lane.
