RADNOR, Pa. – On Friday night, the Cabrini University men's lacrosse team defeated Eastern University in the fourteenth and final meeting between the programs. The Cavaliers went ahead by as many as 11 goals before the Eagles used a strong third-quarter push to draw the game close. The Cavs survived Eastern's second half pressure to take the contest by a score of 17-13 at Edith Robb Dixon Field. Cabrini enters the third game of their four game homestand on Wednesday against DeSales.

How it Happened
- Cabrini dominated the game early, scoring the first eight goals of the contest. Connor Herraiz netted 4 consecutive scores inside a four minute window as part of the run.
- The Cavaliers kept their foot on the gas, as they'd declare a 13-2 advantage late in the second quarter.
- The Eagles scored a pair of goals before the break, but they'd enter halftime trailing Cabrini by nine.
- Eastern swung the tides and made things interesting in the third period, stringing together 7 consecutive scores. After a Cabrini goal snapped the run, Eagles added another pair in the middle of the fourth, trimming the Cavs' lead to just 2 goals.
- Cabrini scored twice in the late stages of the game, taking the Eagle Road battle by a 17-13 final.
