Top-ranked Salisbury Bests Men’s Lacrosse in Regular Season Finale

RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini University men's lacrosse team finished their regular season slate at home against No. 1 Salisbury University. The Cavaliers were first to the scoreboard, but could not keep pace with the unbeaten Sea Gulls who claimed the 21-9 victory. Men's lacrosse enters the Atlantic East Conference tournament with the top seed and a first round bye. They'll host the lowest seeded AEC team remaining on Wednesday.

-Dillon McManus netted his tenth hat trick of the season, leading Cabrini goalscorers with 3. Peter Hewitt and Tommy Vaughan each netted a pair, while Connor Herraiz and Austin Bolton each had one goal.
-Dillon McManus added 2 assists, as Connor Herraiz, John McCormick, Zack Riegler, Mason Lenart, and Jason Fridge each had a helper.

Defensive
-Six Cavaliers forced a caused turnover: Sebastian Tobias, Peter Hewitt, Bear Evans, Griffin Ganster, Jack Gerzabek, and Brayden Skipper.
-Faceoff specialist John McCormick led the Cavs with 7 ground balls, followed by goalkeeper Brayden Skipper with 5. Matt Williams followed with 4, Dillon McManus dug 3, and Sam Kirk and Sebastian Tobias each had 2 ground balls.
-John McCormick eclipsed 300 faceoff wins this season, winning 14 of 33 faceoffs on the night.
