RADNOR, Pa. - On Wednesday night, the Cabrini University men's lacrosse team squared off against the five-seeded Neumann University Knights in an Atlantic East Conference Semifinal match. Neumann entered the game fresh off a 17-12 victory at Immaculata University in the first round of the conference tournament, as Cabrini held a bye through the conference quarterfinals. On the evening, the Cavaliers used a pair of 10-goal runs to sink the Knights and advance to the Atlantic East Men's Lacrosse 2024 Championship.

How it Happened
- Neumann struck first, as the Knights' top goal scorer collected his 64th tally of the season.
- Cabrini answered with scores from Griffin Ganster and Nate Mazurek (helpers by Bolton and Herraiz) a minute later.
- The Knights tied the game 2-2 with a man up goal with 11:00 left in the opening quarter.
- The Cavaliers netted six goals to close the first period, credited to Mason Lenart, Mario Leone, Austin Bolton, John McCormick, Nate Mazurek, and Dillon McManus.
- Cabrini continued their run into the second quarter, as Tommy Vaughan found the back of the net twice, followed by tallies from Connor Herraiz and Griffin Ganster.
- Trailing 12-2, Neumann scored with 6:09 and 3:19 remaining in the second period, each followed by a pair of Cabrini goals. Dillon McManus at 4:10, John McCormick at 4:04, Griffin Ganster at 2:17, and Nate Mazurek at 1:25.
- Cabrini entered halftime holding a 16-4 edge.
- Neumann came out of the break with three of the next four goals, only interrupted by a tally from Gerry Ulatowski assisted by Peter Hewitt.
- Tommy Vaughan netted the last goal of the third quarter, helped by Dillon McManus with 3:44 on the clock.
- Up 18-7 after three, Cabrini nursed their lead with ten unanswered goals in the final frame. Griffin Ganster, Dillon McManus (twice), Mason Lenart, Nick Mormando, Matt Williams, Gerry Ulatowski, Mario Leone (twice), and Nate Mazurek closed the book on the home semifinal.
