Jake Phaup is in his first year as an assistant coach at Cabrini and will be working with the faceoff specialists.
Phaup is currently a member of Atlas of the Premier Lacrosse League. This season, he was 11-for-29 on faceoffs in a contest against Redwoods on July 23.
A four-year member of the Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse team, Phaup was an All-American Faceoff Specialist. He led the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in faceoff percentage in two of the last three seasons, finishing with 587 faceoff wins. That mark is third best in Syracuse history, while his 998 attempts was second all-time in school history. He won 58.8 percent of his faceoffs in his career, sixth best in school history.
His coaching experience includes working at the NXT Lacrosse Club.
A native of Souderton, Pa., Phaup received a degree in Public Health, with a minor in Coaching from Syracuse in 2022.
