Assistant Professor, Philosophy
Jennifer Bulcock, PhD, joined Cabrini University’s Philosophy and Liberal Studies Department in August 2015.
Bulcock's research interests fall primarily within the philosophy of medicine, bioethics, and criminal justice ethics. Her teaching interests cover most areas of applied ethics (esp. biomedical, environmental, and criminal justice), philosophy of law, philosophy of science, feminism, philosophy of sport, war and terrorism, and mental health.
Bulcock also has experience as a research assistant at the John P. McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center and as a voting member of Baylor College of Medicine’s Institutional Review Board for Human Subjects Research. She remains deeply interested in the intersections of medicine and philosophy and how philosophy can help improve medical practice.
Bulcock earned her doctorate in Philosophy from Rice University, and her Master of Arts degree in Justice Studies and her Bachelor’s degree in English and Philosophy from the University of New Hampshire.
