Lucas Spence

Lucas Spence joined the Cabrini men’s lacrosse coaching staff in August 2019.

Spence came to Cabrini after a playing career as a standout two-sport student-athlete at Springfield High School before matriculating to Lehigh University, where he earned a pair of All-Patriot League honors.

A two-time lacrosse All-American and three-time member of the All-Pennsylvania State team Spence led Springfield to the 2015 District One title during a season that saw him named District MVP.

Spence then headed to Bethlehem, PA., where he would embark on a four-year career that included 58 games with 46 starts at Lehigh. Over his career, Spence totaled 131 points on 76 goals and 55 assists.

During his junior and senior campaigns, Spence ranked among the Mountain Hawks’ leader in points, goals and assists, resulting in All-Patriot League Second Team honors in 2018 and 2019.

Named a men’s lacrosse captain in 2019, Spence was also actively involved a variety of leadership and development programs supported by Lehigh University in Lehigh University.

Spence has also been sharing his knowledge with the next generation of lacrosse players since 2014, working as a youth coach with the Springfield Cougars Lacrosse Club.

Over the last 3 summers, Spence has also held individual and group training sessions for offensive players looking to develop skills such as dodging shooting and overall IQ of the game, as well as helping with the Springfield High School team working as an assistant coach during summer lacrosse tournaments.

Spence graduated from Lehigh in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
