READING, Pa. –
The Cabrini men's soccer team played its final non-conference match of the regular season Saturday night, landing on the wrong end of a 1-0 decision at Albright College. The Cavaliers' offense registered 14 total shots, but it was the Lions scoring the eventual game-winning goal in the 80th minute.

Senior Mike McDevitt led the Cabrini charge on the offensive end, recording six shots, including three on Albright goalkeeper Wendell Hannaford. Juniors Justin McCall and Brian Moran each tallied two total shots.

Cavaliers' junior goalkeeper Bryan Johnson collected six saves, including four in the second half. Hannaford finished with seven stops in the win.

After more than 80 minutes of scoreless soccer, Samuel Thompson deposited the game's lone score at the 80:40 mark. The head ball was set-up off one of the Lions' five second-half corner and was served by Chas DeSanto.

The Cavaliers won the corner battle, notching four of their six in the second frame.

Cabrini (9-3-2, 4-0-0) resumes its Colonial States Athletic Conference schedule, traveling to Baptist Bible College Wednesday, October 22 for the first of its last four games of the season. Match time is set for 3:30 p.m.
